It was a pleasure to have had Nicola as a caring trustworthy work colleague for over 3 years in the company that we both worked for. Nicola is a good team player who can work independently. She has excellent communication skills with the client and liaises well with local GP's, district nurses and all social services involved with a client in her care. Nicola is extremely organised, reliable and flexible in her work shift patterns and would be a tremendous asset to your company. I would highly recommend her.

Nicola cared for my father for a week in October 2022. He is 83 and suffers from a lung condition which necessitates him using oxygen, especially when mobilising. Nicola was the first live in carer he has had, and has always been cared for by family members prior to her stay. Dad was very happy with all care given by Nicki. He is fairly quiet, but found her very easy to chat to, and she made him feel comfortable and reassured. He had been a little anxious before she arrived, but has since stated that he would be very happy for her to care for him again, as would I. Nicki was very capable and competent with all aspects of his care, from medication administration, checking his oxygen levels and giving his oxygen, catheter care, assisting with his mobility and all personal care. She was also excellent at maintaining his dietary intake, as his appetite is not so good. Nicki was also excellent at keeping in touch with me, and keeping me updated on how Dad was doing while I was away, which again, was extremely reassuring. I was very impressed by her care and glad that she was so easy for Dad to get on with, and am certainly hoping that we will be able to work with her again. Thank you Nicki.
