My name is Lucia, I am a mother and grandmother, I have worked as a social worker in local
authorities’ adult social care sector from 2003 to 2017. I decided I wanted to change my role in
social worker and work as a caregiver as I wanted to return to one to one working with people in the
community doing something I love and enjoy. I also wanted to have a better work life balance.
I am a very compassionate, kind, friendly and caring person, I enjoy working with people using my
life experiences and professional knowledge to support and make a difference to people’s lives.
I am reliable and trustworthy able to manage difficult situation in a calm and timely manner making
decisions in the best interest of the client for the best outcome.
