Description
I live in Tooting Bec, I was born in Monrovia- Liberia (an English speaking country) which is where my passion for care and supporting individuals began. I started by supporting children injured by the civil war, and have now been a full time carer for over 7 years. I always have an interesting story or two to share.
More than 5 years ago I moved from Belgium (I speak French too), to the UK, to become a carer, since then I have worked to become highly qualified, recently completing a full degree in health care management. I am now studying for my masters in the same area.
I have a strong focus on reassuring and supporting my clients to re-gain their independence. Most of it all I enjoy listing to their stories, creating activities and attending events to boost their value. I am super flexible, I am happy to do the most complex or simple tasks, from from monitoring vital signs and complex moving and handling to shopping, cooking, washing, etc.
