Description
I have been a carer/ support worker for over a decade (20 years), working with both the elderly, adult and young disable people, people with Domestic violence experience, Homelessness and people addicted to alcohol and drugs. I have a level 3 qualification in caring for people with Learning Disabilities, which is equivalent to an Diploma in health and social care level 3. I have also attained Diploma in health and social care level 3. Having worked with some of the toughest cases around, I feel well equipped to care for just about any one, no matter their disability, behavioral difficulties and addiction.
I have a huge amount of compassion for people struggling with activities that allow them to enjoy life, and I love to help them change that. I believe in 'proactively' managing my clients health, I encourage them to seek the right advice and support to help them achieve a long and happy life.
I am a good cook, I love to cook for the family. I go to church, where I sing, although I sing all day long anyway. I also enjoy reading spiritual authors, like 'Paolo Cuneo', but mainly by pastors and I attend conferences. As a treat, I love taking clients to exciting places, even if it is just the local cinema.
