Description
I have been a carer for both young adults and the elderly for the past four years. I enjoy my work. Being able to use my knowledge and experience to support vulnerable people in various aspect of their lives is a privilege.
I am a very friendly 'people' person, reliable and easy to talk to, something I hope you will come to know from me. Over the years, I have supported people with a broad range of issues and disabilities, from dementia and mild mobility issues to more serious conditions, such as cerebral palsy and spinal chord injuries. I find it very rewarding to know that the support I give allows people to live in comfort in their own homes as independently as possible. Where possible, I like to focus on helping my clients to access their friends and family as well as the local community; loneliness is a terrible thing for anyone to deal with.
I also enjoy cooking and making new food, and am always keen to learn new recipes.
