I have been a carer for over sixteen years looking after both elderly and the young. I have patiences, a good listener and I like a chat. I very much enjoy my work, keeping clients as independent as possible when safe to do so. I have worked in care homes and in the community.
I have gained my NVQ 2 and 3 in social care plus various other courses covering dementia, end-of-life care and medication.
I speak fluent Hindi, Gujarati and English.

Usha is always on time. She made a big effort to engage and try new things, which went a long way. She went the extra mile, doing the cooking and other jobs. She always gave me her schedule, which made arranging care even easier. I would certainly work with her again.

Usha has completed her first 2 weeks caring for my Mum. Mum has been extremely well looked after and has enjoyed Usha’s company, stimulation and care. Usha has prepared meals which my mum has appreciated and the house is immaculately clean. Usha has also come up with some practical suggestions for improving the quality of mum’s life. We are very pleased that Usha has agreed to extend her period of care over the coming months.

Usha worked for us, caring for our elderly mother, for 2 years. For the entire time, Usha provided an excellent live-in care service. She was able to perform all the care duties required for an elderly person rapidly losing their mobility with an exceptional level of compassion and understanding. Usha is a bright, loving and joyful carer who is authentic and genuinely interested in the elderly person she is looking after. Usha rapidly became 'one of the family' and is sorely missed. Her compassion continued well after the sad passing of our elderly mum and I can say that she went 'over and above' what is expected of a carer.
