Hello, my name is Melissa and I am an experienced home carer. With a passion for helping others and over 5 years of experience, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals with a wide range of needs.
I have worked with clients who have faced challenges such as Mild Cognitive Impairment, being bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. My skills include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. I am also able to offer hourly care to meet individual needs.
One of my strengths is my ability to drive, and I have my own car, enabling me to easily transport clients should the need arise. In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, cooking and baking, playing video games, and listening to music. I am also comfortable around pets, having experience with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and turtles.
As a carer, I am known for being caring, friendly, and helpful. My motivation for becoming a carer stems from a genuine desire to assist others in leading independent lives. I find immense fulfillment in being able to make a positive impact in the lives of those I care for.
