Hello, my name is Fatoumata K and I am an experienced female carer with a passion for helping others. Throughout my career, I have primarily focused on providing hourly care for individuals with various needs and conditions. I have extensive experience in supporting clients with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, Depression, and those who are bedbound.
One of my strengths as a carer is my ability to assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. I also have experience in catheter care, ensuring that my clients are comfortable and well-cared for in all aspects of their daily routine. Additionally, I believe that companionship is an essential part of care, and I take pride in providing emotional support and friendship to those I work with.
Although I do not currently own a car, I am able to drive and have a valid driver's license. This allows me to easily commute to my clients' homes and fulfil my duties as a carer. I also have a wide range of interests and hobbies, including walking, dancing, cooking and baking, socialising, and watching TV. These activities help me stay balanced and allow me to connect with my clients on a personal level.
In terms of preferences, I am comfortable working with various pets, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I consider myself caring, friendly, and helpful, and I genuinely enjoy providing support to others. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives, and I find immense joy in making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for.
