We had Elaine caring for our mother for 2 weeks. I'm afraid we will not be asking her to return. It was very difficult to communicate in person with Elaine, it was quite clear that she preferred to be alone in the house and wasn't particularly happy to see us when we visited. On one occasion I asked very politely what she included in her cleaning, as she was doing almost nothing - this on top of buying very little food, and most of it convenience, not fresh as we'd hoped it would be, leads me to believe that she has very little experience when it comes to live-in care. She admitted this during a conversation, even though she had said her experience was extensive at interview. She was very nice with my mum though, but when she left after her two weeks she told my mum she wasn't coming back! It resulted in a complete meltdown as Elaine I'm sure would have been aware. I'm afraid I cannot recommend this carer. She's probably very good for hourly hire, but live-in, absolutely not.

Elaine has provided my mother with excellent care and is very caring and gentle with my extremely delicate and vulnerable mother. My mother is very patiently fed and looked after in every aspect of her care requirements. Elaine fits in extremely well with all of the family and we would not hesitate to recommend her nor, her kindness.
