My name is Aisha Khan and I'm a care worker with five years of experience. I'm friendly, helpful, and motivated by the desire to help people live independently. I can drive and have my own car, which is a plus. I've worked with people who are bed bound, have Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression, as well as those who have osteoporosis.
I have the ability to show empathy and patience and give comfort to vulnerable people and by giving them respect and keeping their dignity.
I enjoy meeting new people and caring for those who need me. In my job the most important and interesting aspect is to learn new things every day and meet people of different natures and mindsets. In my job no day is the same as previous one, which makes this job more interesting and challenging. The satisfaction one gets by caring e=and helping anyone cannot be expressed in words and that is what keeps me motivated. In this job, I feel if I can bring smile to anyone's face or make anyone feel confident and independant, that serves the purpose of being a care giver.
I have learned a lot in these past five years of my job as a care giver. This job and meeting new people has boosted my confidence too and I face challenges with confidence and try to find solutions of problems or stressful situations with a calm mind.
