Description
Hello, my name is Zephaniah P, and I am a female home carer with one year of experience in the industry.
If I could, I would be a superhero where I am able to help anyone and everyone. I love to listen, learn and communicate with people and most especially I enjoy team work whereby those people I’m looking out for are at the heart of everything I do. I believe it is a great way make those service users feel loved and appreciated.
I also work in a care setting where I support individuals that have different mental health issues including dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and those who were on end of life. I chose that path because I wanted to give those service users a sense of hope and make them feel happy even if it is for a short while. I assisted with daily personal care, medication administration and meal preparation. As a care worker, I respect all the wishes of my clients, for example, refusal to take medications or food or any needs they might have had. While doing this, I maintained confidentiality and respected their dignity. With the skills I developed, I have the confidence of lone working where I had the opportunity to meet
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, playing card games, cooking & baking, solving puzzles, and socialising. I am also comfortable around dogs and have no issues taking care of them. If you're in need of an experienced and caring home carer, don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I am always ready to help and provide the best care for my clients.
