Hi, I’m Leanne & I’m 29, I live in prestwich & I have a dog, I’m a massive animal lover. I also have a 3 year old daughter. I have 12 years experience of working in care as I have worked in a care home for 8 years, mental health hospital for 4+ months & experience working in a nursery. I love caring for people & going above & beyond, but I also love a challenge & gaining new experiences & skills. I love all pets & will be happy to help with clients & their pets (e.g. their dog needs to be taken for a walk) I’m positive, caring, kind, considerate & I also enjoy sitting down having a chat & doing activities such as knitting or word searches. But I do enjoy the physical side to caring & making sure clients needs are 100% met so they’re happy & comfortable before my shift ends. My main priority is to make sure that clients are comfortable & im aware some clients have specific routines or ways of having their needs met & I will do my 100% to meet that! I have experience with stoma bags, catheters, setting up patients peg feeds, bathing/showering, washing & dressing, helping assist to oral care (I do have a badge for being Oral Care Hygiene Champion), laundry, changing bedding, I am also willing to go the extra mile into cleaning the house, washing pots, helping with clients animals etc.
I look forward to meeting new clients!!

Have known Leanne for 6 years and worked with her for 4. She is an excellent carer. She has an amazing ability to build rapport very quickly and all the clients definitely favour her. She will go far out of her way to make sure her clients are happy and staff that she works with for that matter. She was the first one in and the last one out most of the time and never took a day off in the time that I’ve known her. She’s also very experienced having worked in the industry for a long time and has taught me a lot of things in our time working together and knowing each other. Competence and a heart of gold make for a very good caregiver. Absolutely recommend hiring her if you want someone who can do it all.
