Description
Hi there my name is Wendy and I am a experienced Carer who lives in North Sheffield. I am a friendly honest and reliable person who really enjoys getting to know and helping others. I have been employed as a private carer for the last ten years but previous to that cared for my own mother who unfortunately had a serious stroke and needed full time care. I know first hand the issues and concerns of clients so I bring compassion along with personal experience to the role. I get great satisfaction from helping others and will always strive to find a way even if it means going the extra mile or out of my experience to do so. I love to learn new things and I am not afraid of challenges. I enjoy meeting new people who usually become friends as I am used to working closely with my clients and their families. I have vast experience with many clients over the years and also my previous career in Education working with children with Special Needs. I have worked with clients of both sexes and all ages and I am an advocate of diversity data protection and can be trusted completely. I enjoy spending time with my family which includes 4 beautiful grandchildren and I am passionate about animals, mostly dogs as I have a gorgeous pooch called Peggy who I adore. I have completed animal care courses to support any clients with their pets. I love to read and watch films. I have my own car and I am a non Smoker.

Wendy has really connected with my mum and mum really enjoys her visits. Mum feels she can ask Wendy for help with things generally , if she needs it , but currently enjoys the companionship.
