I am a registered nurse, with 30 years experience in the healthcare profession.
Previously I worked in the hospital setting, but over more recent years I have done district nursing, and now I work in community hospitals. I spent 16 years on and off, caring for a young adult with complex needs, and have had several care jobs with the elderly in their own homes.
I enjoy building a rapport with the people I support, encouraging independence, and hopefully putting a smile on their faces! My sense of humour is good and I am cheerful and trustworthy.
My skills include companionship, assisting with activities of daily living, medication administration, and clinical nursing care ie dressings and catheter care.
I'm also a bit of a foodie, and enjoy cooking for others.

Cath is fantastic! She helped my elderly dad when he had a catheter fitted. Cath is friendly, kind and empathic but also highly professional. We count ourselves so lucky to have found Cath and would highly recommend her.

Cath has been supporting my mother for about a year in which time they have built up a good rapport and friendship. Cath has been very helpful and caring with every aspect of my mums care , nothing is too much trouble for Cath she goes shopping, takes my mum out for a coffee or just a drive to give her a break from being indoors . We are going to miss Cath when she moves , she has been a huge help to our family.

I am so happy that I have found Catherine to help care for my 90 year old Mum. She is reliable, on time and takes her job of caring very seriously. She has a wonderful way of talking to and dealing with my mother, who is definitely more positive and motivated when Catherine has spent time with her. As I live in the USA I truly appreciate how Catherine communicates with me after every visit and whenever an issue arises. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and concerned carer.
