Hello, my name is Katie and I am a female home carer. I’m a full time carer to my special needs son. I specialise in hourly care and have a wide range of experience in dealing with different conditions such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.

One of the advantages I bring to my work is my ability to drive and own a car, which allows me to reach my clients in a timely manner. I am well-versed in skills such as assisting with dressing, providing companionship, cooking meals, doing laundry, and cleaning. These skills enable me to provide a comprehensive level of care to my clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

When I am not taking care of others, I enjoy engaging in various hobbies such as walking, solving puzzles, DIY projects, socializing with friends and family, and reading. Additionally, I have a fondness for animals and am comfortable caring for pets such as cats, fish and rabbits.

As a person, I am caring, friendly, and helpful, always striving to go above and beyond in my care and support for those in my care. My motivation for being a carer stems from my passion for helping people lead independent lives. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, and I am dedicated to making this a reality for my clients.
