Description
My name is Susan G and I am an experienced carer with a passion for helping others lead independent lives. With over 5 years of experience in home care, I have worked with a wide range of clients with varying needs. From individuals with mild cognitive impairment to those who are bedbound, I have gained valuable skills in providing personalized care and support.
I have worked with clients who suffer from conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I understand the challenges that these conditions can present and strive to create a warm and compassionate environment where my clients feel comfortable and supported. My skills include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. I believe that maintaining dignity and promoting independence are key aspects of providing quality care.
When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and baking, solving puzzles, and socializing with others. I find great joy in reading and watching TV as well. I have a love for animals and am comfortable caring for pets including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I am a caring, friendly, and helpful individual who genuinely enjoys making a positive impact on the lives of others.
My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to make a difference and empower individuals to have control over their lives. I take pride in providing care that not only meets physical needs but also promotes emotional well-being. With my ability to drive and my own car, I am able to provide reliable and flexible care to clients. I am excited to continue my journey as a carer and look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those I work with.

Sue has been looking after my mother and later on my father for well over 10 years. She is very caring, capable, trustworthy, hardworking and a really kind and amiable person. Over the years Sue has become a family friend. Sue has been helping me since my dad passed away with things way beyond what she had to, as she is such a thoughtful lady. I am very very happy to recommend Sue to her next position, and have absolutely no doubt what so ever that she will be just as wonderful, and I wish her all the best for her next placement.

Susan was always show care and compassion in her job role. She went above and beyond in all aspects of her job role. As a supervisor she was always professional and through every problem she used her extensive social care knowledge. Susan never once said no training even though she struggled with it. Her passion for the job showed through, the service users loved her and her problem solving was amazing especially as it was always as in social care in an emergency or last minute. Susan will be a credit to you.
