Description
Hello there
I am a Personal Assistant and ex Social Work Assistant for the local authority. I enjoy meeting and supporting new people and have loved being a carer. I have experience of working with older and physical disability and learning disability service users. I have approximately 10 years experience in the care industry and also support to assess service users needs and signpost to appropriate services if required.
I have a real passion for caring for people and always treat my clients as if they were my own family, whilst maintaining professional boundaries. I have experience in assessment, mental capacity assessment, advocacy and signposting and referrals to medical or social care professionals. In addition, I am currently very hands on in my current role and have one service user who I support over 7 days per week.
I am happy to support with overnight care, waking nights, sleep-ins or hourly care and now have capacity to accept live-in care packages.
I have a keen interest in walking, cinema, films, reading, animals but do not like snakes or spiders.
I am available at present to provide support to your loved ones and can guarantee a professional and quality service to those who I care for.
I look forward to hearing from you.
