Am Emma got twenty-five years of experience working with difference individuals with difference needs regarding to their care plan. My duty of care is thst their needs are met holistically with all the professional invoved in their care. My passion is to make sure all the needs are met working alongside with the family. Am good listener quickly grab new ideas and skills put them in evidence based practice. I had experience working with individual suffering from dementia. My duty of care was make the safety measures sre put in place complying with the family. Promote independence, dignity, privacy and promote individual values. Also taking the client for appointments wgen needed doing the house chores cooking, cleaning the house as required. Providing personal care requirements to the client and administering of medication accordingly adviced by the medical profession.

Emma accepted the job at very short notice, arriving that same afternoon as we needed someone urgently to assist with Mum. She is an experienced carer, and supported Mum, who was suffering with Alzheimer's, with all aspects of living. Mum could be challenging to care for. Emma took time to get to know her and observe her carefully so that she could work effectively with her. Emma is very clear about patient needs and available services, and consistently advocated for Mum to get the medical support she needed. Emma spent several long periods alone with Mum in the home. She is trustworthy and reliable and was committed to her client. She has a big heart and is compassionate and caring. She also has a great sense of humour and I really enjoyed the times we were together with Mum. She made it possible for us to manage a really challenging situation. Thank you Emma.
