Emma accepted the job at very short notice, arriving that same afternoon as we needed someone urgently to assist with Mum. She is an experienced carer, and supported Mum, who was suffering with Alzheimer's, with all aspects of living. Mum could be challenging to care for. Emma took time to get to know her and observe her carefully so that she could work effectively with her. Emma is very clear about patient needs and available services, and consistently advocated for Mum to get the medical support she needed. Emma spent several long periods alone with Mum in the home. She is trustworthy and reliable and was committed to her client. She has a big heart and is compassionate and caring. She also has a great sense of humour and I really enjoyed the times we were together with Mum. She made it possible for us to manage a really challenging situation. Thank you Emma.
