Bernice has been working as a carer for my mother (and also helped a lot with my father) for alternate two-weekly sessions from August 2022 until January 24th 2023. She is a kind and compassionate carer and I was very grateful for her attempts to help my mother adjust to a life with Alzheimers. My mother enjoys music and Bernice shared her own musical gift with her with singing sessions that helped to lift my mum's spirits. She kept the house clean and tidy and was very reliable at administering medication. She was also very good at finding ways to help my mum to wash when she was not allowed to get her leg wet as a wound healed. She was patient and calm and used her initiative when dealing with sometimes chaotic situations. She was a good cook and we felt we could trust her in all aspects of her work. I feel privileged to have known her and am impressed with her integrity. Yours sincerely, Susanna Spanring
