Description
I have 11 years care experience in diverse care settings. I have acquired skills and experience in supported housing with clients with learning and physical disabilities.
My major experience in care is working with clients with complex care needs. I have
7 years care experience specifically working with people with dementia, brain and spinal cord injuries, MS and Alzheimer's diseases.
I decided to become a self employed carer so that I can choose the clients whose needs matches my skills and my experience. Something that most employment agencies failed to achieve.
Matching a client to the right carer is important in quality care delivery.
I have all the relevant up-to-date care trainings.
I respect my client's privacy when working in their homes and follow all care policies. I have an up-to-date liability insurance certificate.
I have a 7 years full clean UK driving licence.
I am empathetic and I have been told that I have a good sense of humour.
I enjoy watching various sports such as football, rugby and tennis. I like current affairs, nature related documentaries and travel programmes. I like visiting theatres and above all, I love driving and site seeing.

Henry is hard-working and good at timekeeping
Reviewed on 29th January 2024
Henry cared for my 63 yr old husband, who lives with Multiple Sclerosis and Autism, supporting him as a wheelchair user with external catheter. Henry has a wide knowledge of how to provide good all-round care. Henry is an honest, calm and trustworthy man, with a patient, professional approach to his work. He is a good timekeeper and an excellent person to handle crisis situations, e.g. when my husband had fallen or lost his temper. Henry is a careful thinker, anticipating needs in advance and suggesting useful ideas when appropriate. He is physically very strong and has good driving skills. Well-spoken and educated, Henry presents well and is capable of liaising with medical professionals etc and attending health appointments with his client. I appreciated his flexibility to help out in the garden occasionally as well as spending companionable time sharing my husband’s interests with him.
