My name is Katarzyna, but please do call me Kat. I am 43 years, Polish nationality. I am Primary Teacher and Speech and Language Therapist. 7 years ago I decided to come to the UK to improve my English and gain some new experience in my life. I started to work as a Live in Carer and I enjoy it, as helping others, was always in my heart, it has also given me the opportunity to practice my speech therapist skills and knowledge. Working as a Live in Career for more than 6 years, has bringing up my ability to easily adapt into any new situation, to work in a stressful environment and also the ability to deal with syndromes like confusion, anxiety, depression etc. I have been working with people suffering with many different diseases like Dementia, Alzheimer, Parkinson, Cancer, MS, Obsessive - Compulsive Disorder, Autism, Spinal Cord Injury
I am a very patient and caring person, well organized and keen. Always open to learn new things. I carry out my duties with due a respect for the dignity and privacy of every person.
I love traveling. I enjoy painting and playing guitar, I enjoy knitting. In my free time I also read a lot, specially about Sociology and Speech therapy.

Kasia is a lovely caring person who cared for my 95-year old mum whilst I was away on holiday. Mum really enjoyed having chats with her and I would have no hesitation in having her again to look after mum should the need arise.
