Description
Hello! My name is Marinette Kembi Mbaki Watumwa W, and I am a passionate and experienced home carer. As a female carer, I have had the privilege of working with clients in a variety of care settings. I am skilled in providing different types of care, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care.
Throughout my career, I have encountered clients with diverse needs and conditions. I have experience in caring for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, those who are bedbound, and individuals with Parkinson's Disease. Additionally, I have successfully supported clients dealing with anxiety and depression, providing them with the care and companionship they need to improve their quality of life.
Although I do not drive or have a car, I am highly proficient in various caregiving skills. I am comfortable providing assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. My clients have appreciated the level of support I provide in their day-to-day activities. Companionship is also a crucial aspect of my care, as I believe it is essential for individuals to have someone to talk to and spend time with.
Outside of my caregiving role, I have a range of hobbies that bring me joy and help me maintain a positive mindset. I love painting, walking, dancing, cooking, baking, and decorating. These hobbies not only enable me to relax and unwind but also allow me to share my creativity and passion with those around me.
In terms of pet preferences, I am particularly fond of fish, rabbits, and birds. I believe that pets can bring joy and companionship to individuals, especially those in need of care and support.
Lastly, I am a caring, friendly, and helpful person, which are attributes that I bring to my caregiving role. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives, despite any challenges they may face. I find fulfillment in making a positive impact on the lives of my clients and strive to provide them with the highest level of care possible.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can support your loved one.
