Description
I have been a carer for 14 years something I have always loved doing. I have now started a degree in medicine, which switched into from a degree in to nursing, so am continuously working to improve my knowledge and skills.
I started in care because of my grandmother, whom I looked after for a very long time. Having had that experience, I wanted to make use of what I had learnt, so threw myself into care full time. I love caring for the elderly, but also for younger people and children with disabilities. I pride myself on being able to handle difficult situations and difficult people on a 1 to 1 basis, as well as my ability to connect and communicate with them and their families. I make sure to take notes diligently and communicate them clearly to everyone else involved in delivering the care.
I love to cook and I enjoy learning new dishes and styles of cooking, although try as I might, my baking still needs work.
So, if you are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable carer, who has a degree in human and medical science and has studied both nursing and medicine, I am the carer for you, I look forward hearing from you.

It was great to have someone who just knows what to do, and gets on with it. She uses her initiative and her experience on paper matches her ability. I would highly recommend her.
