About me...
I have been a carer for more than 12 years. I am from Kenya and it is something culturally that we do, looking after our own family and elderly relatives, and so caring has always been natural to me. As this is my profession I have gained a lot of experience and also studied for higher qualifications to improve my skills, because giving the best care possible is what I am passionate about. Giving the people I work with my very best and making their life safe, enjoyable and full and allowing them to stay in their home in the most familiar surroundings is why I do this. I have worked with many different clients, both ladies and gentlemen and many different conditions such as: dementia, alzheimers, parkinsons, physical disability and more. I have worked with clients a with advanced dementia and believe I have the skills and emotional intelligence to manage this and also give them comfort. As a person I am softly spoken, kind and gentle and I think people warm to me easily. I am a hard worker and am happy to look after the home as much as those in my care.
