Description
Hello! My name is Rachel and I am an experienced home carer dedicated to making a positive impact in people's lives. With a wide range of care types under my belt, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care, I am confident in my ability to provide high-quality support to those in need.
Throughout my career, I have cared for individuals with various health conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Orthopaedic Injuries / Broken Bones, Respiratory Illnesses (COPD, Asthma, etc.), HIV / AIDS, and Mild Cognitive Impairment. I am passionate about improving the lives of others and ensuring their well-being.
Although I am unable to drive and do not own a car, I possess a multitude of skills that can greatly benefit my clients. These skills include eating and drinking assistance, medication reminders, companionship, cooking, and cleaning. I believe that by providing assistance in these areas, I can help individuals maintain their independence and enjoy a good quality of life.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, as well as watching TV shows and movies. I appreciate the art of good food and believe that it has the power to bring people together. Additionally, I find solace and relaxation while watching a variety of TV shows and movies.
While I have a fondness for cats, fish, and birds, it is important for me to provide care and support to individuals regardless of their pet preferences. Caring, friendly, and helpful are just a few attributes that describe me as a person, and these qualities shine through in my caregiving practice.
My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to help people lead independent lives. I believe that everyone deserves to enjoy life to the fullest, regardless of their circumstances.
If you are in need of a compassionate and dedicated carer, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact in your life.

Rachel is a quietly spoken, extremely caring person and looked after Val very well. Val has dementia and other problems. Rachel was very patient with her and developed a really good understanding with her. Rachel escalated any issues when she was unsure/needed a decision on action . I received daily updates.
