Doina has been an exceptional live-in carer for my mother for over 4 years. She is reliably cheerful, kind and very capable. Amongst her many attributes are her very good nursing/personal care skills, her common sense, her sense of humour and her ability to show initiative. She is also a great cook! As a family we think very highly of Doina and wish her well for the future

Doina cared for my elderly mother for 4.5 years. Doina was very good at personal care, aware of my mother's changing needs as she deteriorated physically. My mother was very conscious of this when Doina was on holiday and another carer took over. Nobody matched Doina! Doina is also a very good cook. Perhaps unusually for an older person, my mother had a very good appetite and so appreciated her meals. Doina adapted her cooking to provide the sort of food my mother enjoyed. She was also very kind in making wonderful cakes and desserts for all us to enjoy on special family occasions. Doina is honest - we never had any concerns about her management of the household budget. She is efficient and recognised when a hospital bed etc would be beneficial, when she needed to call the district nurse or doctor. She is also good-humoured, laughs a lot and chatted to my mother. She treated my mother as the intelligent, sensitive person she was. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a carer.
