Description
Hi, my name is Donnette Boney. I am a caring, compassionate, patient and loving person who can quickly get along with others. I enjoy being a carer because I can help others with the pleasurable basics of life. These basic things that I do make someone's day special and put a smile on their face mean a lot, which is so rewarding.
I am a qualified carer with over twenty years of experience working in the health and social care sector. I have worked with clients with various medical conditions such as early-stage dementia, late-stage dementia, Parkinson's, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, mental health, end-of-life care, old age, respite care, companionship and physical disabilities. My previous job was working in their own home, residential care home with people with dementia and learning disabilities and living in care, providing friendship and support with all holistic care needs. My skills work well with my teams and all professionals, and I am good at solving problems. In addition, I have a good work ethic and am very good at communicating with my client and all professionals involved in their care and with their loved ones. The qualifications I obtain are a Degree in Business Management and Health and Social Care, NVQ level 2 in care, Medication training and all the mandatory certificate in care.
I look forward to meeting my next client to put a smile on their face and help them to live their lives to the fullest.
