Heather looked after my Mum for the last couple of years of her life. My Mum was diagnosed with dementia in 2017 and by the time Heather came to help me look after her she was quite bad. Heather was always happy and extremely kind and patient with my Mum and they made a very strong bond with each other. In the last 3 months my Mum came out of hospital on palliative care. I had managed to get a very good care package to look after my Mum but to be honest Heather did many more hours than she got paid for. Her words to me when I brought her home was I will do everything your Mum needs and she did she was there when my Mum finally passed away and I really dont no how I would of managed without her she was much more than my Mums career she became her friend and we cried together at the end. Heather will always remain my friend she was wonderful.
