Im Tinotenda, but some people call me Tino. I have been a carer for 10+ years, and my skills, experience, and passion I have learnt through caregiving have helped build stronger relationships with my clients and my own family. I am dedicated to delivering person-centred care with empathy, respect, and kindness, and I am eager to learn more from experienced colleagues to further develop my skills. I met Tinotenda (Tino) around November 2022 when he came to care for my elderly father. We employed two full time live in carers and Tino worked with an existing carer. He stayed with Dad (Neville) until the day of Neville’s death aged 98 in October 2023. Tino was the most wonderfully rounded, empathetic and intuitive person. He not only developed a great relationship with Neville but also had a great working relationship with our existing carer. The whole thing worked extremely well. Tino showed his expertise and knowledge in caring for the elderly; he frequently contacted various outside agencies including the GP’s surgery; he made smoothies and nutritional meals from scratch every day and was conscious of minimising food waste. Tino was capable of reading Neville and knew when he needed to be professional, respectful and quiet but also knew when to encourage Neville to go for a walk for example or enjoy a bit of banter. When family members visited, he was always happy to cook for us and ‘look after’ us as he very much acknowledged and appreciated our support and input in Neville’s ongoing care. Family members each lived 150 miles away in opposite directions so it was imperative we felt happy with the care being provided. Tino was perfect for Neville. He was a first class carer and I am still in touch with him. I highly recommend him to you.

Tinotenda is a very intelligent caring and hard working man.During the time I worked with him he was a very good member of the team respected everyone around him.He cared so much about people he looked after from personal care .day to day activites.He is a very good cook.Tinoteda will be a bring a lot to the company should you offer him a job.
