Description
I am a very active, very young at heart 60 years young. I still have so much living and adventures left to live. I believe every day is a blessing. I have empathy and compassion, and believe that tolerance and respect for all is of paramount importance.
I find that Caring has enriched my life in many ways. It is equally as rewarding as it can sometimes be challenging. Every Client brings their own nuances to every Placement, and everyone has a story to tell and a life lived. I have always enjoyed taking care of people and that is why my previous working experience was in the Hospitality Industry. I have always loved working with people.
I enjoy cooking and cleaning ( which many are amused by )
I have been doing this for just over 6 years and have had Clients from all walks of life, and with varying needs.
I have had Clients with Mobility Issues, and Physical Handicaps. Those who have needed help with Personal Care. My Client's have had Dementia problems ranging from Alzheimers to Vascular Dementia. I have had Client's with their own Dietary needs, and have done my best to learn about this and try to fulfill them I do Personal Care when needed. I do Shopping and Housekeeping, organise Doctor's Appointments, and any other Help if required .
I have recently acquired my Provisional Learners License, and will have my Driver's License before the end of this year. ( 2024 )
