Hello my name is Amina and I have 5 years’ experience in supporting young adults with learning disabilities, domiciliary care, residential homes and live in care. I am an innovative and enthusiastic person, who has the ability to work as part of a team as well as the initiative to work independently through various tasks.
Some of my strongest attributes include having great communication with all customers/clients, leading or being part of a group/team and building a great rapport with those I work amongst.
Working as a Key worker, my role was to assist and enable the service user to reach their highest potential. Provide interests to stimulate and engage the service user with others; as well as monitor the individual’s conditions.
With this experience I am able to safeguard vulnerable adults, deal with challenging behaviours efficiently, liaise well with family members and prioritise my work load.
