Description
Hello, I'm Paula M, a compassionate and dedicated female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing support to individuals with diverse care needs. My expertise covers a range of care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. I have worked with clients dealing with conditions such as Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, depression, and those who are bedbound.
While I do not drive or own a car, my skills in bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship have enabled me to make a positive impact in the lives of those I care for. Additionally, I take pride in fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere by engaging in activities such as walking, cooking and baking, solving puzzles, gardening, and enjoying music.
I find joy in caring for others and helping them maintain their independence, which is my primary motivation for being a home carer. My caring, friendly, and helpful nature, coupled with a genuine passion for the well-being of my clients, allows me to create meaningful connections and provide the best possible care tailored to their individual needs. I also have a soft spot for pets, particularly dogs, fish, rabbits, birds, and turtles, adding an extra layer of companionship and joy to the caregiving experience.

Paula cared for several weeks for my ex-husband, who has Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia. Paula is a warm and caring person. She always seeks to do what the client wants. Paula has a quiet and non-confrontational personality. She is intelligent, with a good sense of humour, and is not upset by difficult behaviour. She is interested in people and their interactions and committed to resolving problems without confrontation. We very much appreciate the efforts that she made to look after my ex-husband.
