Hello, my name is Gomes J. I am an experienced home care giver with eight years of professional experience. I specialize in Live-in, Hourly, and Overnight care, working closely with individuals to cater to their unique needs. Some of my noticeable attributes are my caring, friendly, and helpful attitude, driven by a strong passion for helping people lead independent lives.
I am motivated by the thought that I can make a difference daily in an individual's life. My skillset includes providing assistance with day-to-day activities such as bathing, toileting, and companionship. I have experience with individuals suffering from mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. I have also worked with clients who require catheter care.
Apart from caring for individuals, I also enjoy indulging myself in hobbies such as walking, cooking & baking, watching TV, music, and sports. Although I cannot drive nor have a car, I am willing to travel to provide support. I am also ok with pets, specifically fish.

I have always found Gomes to be trustworthy, hard working and intelligent. When we worked on individual, Gomes showed good communication skills and l could rely on him to take the initiative and to stay calm under pressure. For this reasons,l believe Gomes would be ideal for the job of care assistant .

Gomes arrived on time wearing a smart track suit. He immediately came over as a caring person. He wanted to do something helpful. As I hadn’t had my breakfast, I verbally directed him to get that for me - Rice Crispies with Doctor’s. sachet mixed with water. I also asked him to put some bottles of water by my bed which was most necessary. I am waiting until I see another person before making up my mind.

Gomes was fantastic looking after my Uncle with learning disabilities (as a live in carer). He helped calm him and cook some great meals. Definitely recommend.
