My name is Annette. I am a fun loving, chatty young lady who loves to laugh… I enjoy travelling, cooking, walking, reading and I am passionate about health and exercise.
I have worked with children for 15 years and have a CACHE Level 3, Diploma in Childcare and Education and have a BA Hons Degree in Social Work and practiced for 16 years working specifically with adults. My social work experience has led me to working with people who have a physical and learning disability, mental health, substance use disorder and with a range of health conditions. I have worked in a multi-disciplinary way liaising with professionals which include: Occupational Therapists, Consultants/GP’s, Physiotherapist, Police and Advocates.
I now work as a Housing Support Worker full time with people over 55 years old in the community that need help with housing, benefits, care and anything in between. I throughly enjoy my job and the satisfaction it gives with helping people improve their lives.
Beside my main job I also began work as a carer in early 2018 after caring for my grandmother for many years previous to this. My experiences are working with the elderly in residential home, extra care sheltered accommodation, challenging behaviour, dementia care, catheter care, personal care, manual handling, medication administration, shopping, food preparation, housekeeping and companionship.
I love making people feel good about themselves, ensuring that they get the best care possible with attention to detail. I am happy to liaise with family members and feel it is imperative to keep them updated at all times. I am patient, kind, caring, organised, diligent about infection control and health and safety.
I am available Monday to Sunday early morning and evenings plus can sleep in during the week.

Annette gives a first class service. She gets to know both the one in need of care and their relatives by chatting with them. As a qualified Social Worker, she gives lots of useful information as well. She looked after my Mum who has Dementia and really made her laugh. She's friendly, attentive and a good communicator.
