Description
I have 12 years experience working as a carer in a residential care home and I have developed compassionate approach. I enjoy talking to my clients as I carry out my duties. I ensure my clients rights, privacy and dignity are protected, supporting them to maximise their potential to be independent and making their own choices.
Working in a care home has helped me gained knowledge in caring for elderly with different illnesses such as stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, dementia etc. I became support worker in an hospital setting supporting patients with mental illness including eating disorder, Depression, Hypomania and mania, Panic attacks, personality disorder. Working in this role has helped me gaining interpersonal skills, good listening, ability to adapt and act accordingly. My most recent role is working in a college to support vulnerable adults in gaining skills for work, living courses, social interaction in the community, friendship, and independent living.
The safety of all my clients is paramount as I make sure they receive the best possible care.
I am Available for living in or share week with other cares, pick up from hospital and drop at home, 3-4 nights a week.

Sarah has worked in our hospital as HCW for the past few years on agency. She has a brilliant work ethics and requires no prompting to perform her allocated/delegated duties. She is a good team players, has a good communication skills and relates with patients and staff appropriately. She is also punctual.
