My name is Sandra and I work as a live in carer. I have been working as a Live In carer for over 10years. Before this time I worked in various settings as Administrative Assistant including hospital environments.
I unintentually started working as a care/support worker because of the opportunity to work part-time during the day when my children were at school.
Then I got encouraged by my GP to study nursing.
I enrolled at University where I studied Adult nursing.
I developed extensive knowledge of health care services, I am highly experienced in the delivery of individual care plans as well as working together with community and local authority team.
I am skilled in elderly care, learning disability, mental health support, with focus on promoting and maintaining clients’ independence and wellbeing.
I have the ability to evaluate care effectiveness and to promote care efficiency. I have demonstrated strong and individual high working standards, with exemplary care work ethics.
I always act with integrity and in the best interest of the clients whilst making sure I work in compliance with policies and guidelines.
I am conscientious, compassionate and to strive for the best success. The greatest pleasure that I derive from delivering care to the clients is seeing their satisfaction with the care that I provide.
