Description
My passion for caring for the elderly started a long time ago when i realised that i loved the elderly and just wanted to care for them and make them happy and secure in their old age, everyone gets old and needs to be taken care of. The elderly that need care now did not ever think that this time would come, my help comes in by helping them to live in their own home that they have bought a long time ago, i believe that anyone who wants to stay in their own environment without going into a care home must be encouraged to do so with a live in carer, because when they are in their own home they do live longer with a good care. I enjoy been a carer because of my love for people and allowing them to be free in their own space, been a carer is fulfilling to me and my care for them is like caring for my elderly parents as well.
I tend to take full responsibilty of my clients and make sure that they are content, comfortable and satisfied in their own home. Seeing been happy in their own home brings me joy and happy as well.
To care is a huge responsibilty which is quite good to do. I like to get on with my clients and make them comfortable. I have a lot of training that i have done and still wanting to learn more. Caring i was with a client for four years and it gave me a lot of experience in care , and everyday is different from the previous day, there’s always something new to do with her as an individual. And i have learnt to involve her in things that she’s able to do. Communicating with my client is also very important which causes us to have a relationship with each other. It’s good to communicate with them has a very good impact for them.
I alos like to take them out often, going to church my religion is christainity, i like going to the parks, zoos, museums, cinemas, library, anywhere my clients wants to go to is very okay for me , to take them to their friends house is also good for them. Eating together makes them comfortable with their carers. I
