My name is Maura I married when I was nineteen I have been caring most of my life starting
from a young age with my first baby at twenty, then having three more boys within two and a
half years, I then with my family, started specialist Fostering, working with adolescents with
difficult and emotional problems, we did this for 11 years.
I have lived in Spain for 30 years now, working in the art and antique business along with
restoring property, I am on my forth property now, about 8 years or more a friend told me about
caring for the elderly and I thought I would love to do that and here I am.
I have worked with lots of different clients, but mainly with dementia of all different stages, I
like to connect with my clients, I am empathetic motivated and good humoured I like to please
and make life easier and more fulfilled for my clients making them feel safe and cared for with
dignity and humility no matter what the problem. I like to cook and happy to cook anything my
clients like to eat and am always happy to please, I am a people person although I can be alone, I
like to watch films and documentaries. I love traveling reading autobiographies art fashion and
interior design.
