I became a caregiver because it all started back home looking after family members and helping the elderly in the communities.
I have done professional care for more than five years, I have worked in different care setups like care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care and now live in care. I have experience of looking after people living with dementia, strokes, parkinson disase, arthritis, etc, also am able to use different types of hoists and have knowledge of moving and handling. So with skills, training and experience I have make it easy to do my job properly.
I like my job as a caregiver, helping others getting good personal centred care and living happily life as anyone would like to live, also treating clients with respect, dignity and letting clients have choice in daily life activities.
Am a jolly, compassionate, kind, patient and a good listener. I love cooking, watching TV soaps, socialising, shopping, playing board games, browsing on the internet, reading, dancing and listening to music.
