Description
My name is Adefoluke, I am friendly, caring, and compassionate about supporting others around me needing help and assistance. I am kind and empathetic with a practical disposition. Having gained over 5 years’ experience of working in health and social care, I am confident in ensuring quality care standards are maintained. I understand the importance of being approachable and consistent in my own performance and open to feedback and comments from others, and most importantly being an excellent worker.
I’ve worked with different vulnerable age groups from children to adults with varied needs and find this work very rewarding. I’m passionate about health, wellbeing & a positive quality of life for others. I like the flexibility I get from being a Live In Carer & supporting the most vulnerable in the comfort of their own homes. I also enjoy the outdoors from going for a walk in the park to outdoor exercise, travelling, reading, cleaning, shopping & spending time with family & friends.
I am organised and take my role seriously, always aiming to continuously improve my capabilities. I love communicating and sharing experiences, my client’s overall wellbeing is paramount to me. I am reliable and patient enough to handle each situation that arises calmly, without getting flustered or resentful. I am able to connect with your loved one as a person, not just as a client who needs care. I understand the emotions an elderly person may struggle with as they face new realities. You can depend on me to ensure that everything that should be done, is done. I have supported and cared for clients: companionship, physical disability, strokes, diabetes, vascular dementia, stoma, use of hoists and other moving and handling equipment.
I am fully vaccinated and boosted. References are available on request.
