I am a very warm and friendly person who loves helping people. I am hardworking and take pride in the quality of care I provide and having worked for more than 15 years in the care sector, both in the care home setting and at their residences, I have a lot of experience in working with older people. I pay great attention to detail in health and safety when preparing meals, administering medication and providing personal care.
I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. This often feeds into the work I do, supporting and meeting the various needs different people have and helping me tailor my approach to suit their individual circumstances.
I am efficient, reliable, trustworthy and empathetic which qualities I have found are vital in care work. Over the past fifteen years, I have come to appreciate the importance of patience to those I support in the course of my work and ensuring their dignity and respect for their personal space whether that be in their home or in a care home.
