Description
Hello, potential clients! My name is Joanne-Marie C, and I am an experienced home carer. With a wide range of skills and a genuine love for helping people, I am dedicated to providing the best care possible.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in caring for individuals with various conditions including poor or declining mobility, bedbound individuals, and those with dementia such as Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. I am also experienced in assisting individuals who struggle with anxiety and depression. Providing compassionate and understanding care is my top priority.
I am capable of providing assistance on a live-in, hourly, or overnight basis. Though I do not have a car, I am able to drive. My skills go beyond caregiving and include administrative tasks, cleaning, laundry, cooking, and providing companionship. I believe that a clean and well-organized environment contributes to a person's wellbeing, and I am thrilled to offer these skills to my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy walking, dancing, playing card games, cooking and baking, and solving puzzles. These hobbies not only help me unwind but also allow me to engage with individuals on a personal level, promoting a positive and vibrant atmosphere.
I have a fondness for pets and am especially comfortable caring for cats, fish, and birds. Their presence often brings joy and companionship to both the individual receiving care and myself.
My attributes of being caring, friendly, and helpful make me an ideal carer. I find immense satisfaction in helping people lead independent lives. It is my belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity and respect, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that.
If you are searching for a dedicated home carer who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives, look no further. I am excited to bring my skills and experience to your home and provide the care and companionship that you or your loved ones need.

Joanne - Marie was the carer for my 95 year old mother who had dementia. Jo was always extremely kind, considerate, and patient with my mother. She was always punctual and extremely professional.she always approached her work with a smile. Jo was always supportive of the family at a difficult time. I would have no hesitation recommending Jo for any role in the caring profession.

Joanne was my Nan's carer for a number of years. She was always polite, punctual and very caring about my Nan's welfare and hygiene. She would never refuse to make sure my Nan was clean, even when she came in the late evening. If my Nan was soiled, she would endeavour to make sure she and her clothes were clean and fresh. Joanne was very tidy and would leave no clutter behind for me to clear up. Both my Nan and I were always at ease with Joanne, she was pleasant and easy to communicate with.
