Description
Hello, my name is Fatuma, and I am a female home carer with several years of experience in providing excellent care to individuals with a range of needs. I have worked in various care settings, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care. My areas of expertise include supporting individuals with mild cognitive impairment, old age patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, depression, dementia and stroke.
I am passionate about helping people lead independent lives, and I take great pride in my ability to provide compassionate and personalized care. My skills include assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. In addition to meeting the physical needs of my clients, I also place a strong emphasis on companionship. I believe that a kind and friendly presence can make a significant difference in someone's life.
Outside of my work as a carer, I have a variety of hobbies that help me maintain a healthy work-life balance. I enjoy taking long walks in nature, which not only helps me stay fit but also clears my mind and energizes me. Cooking and baking are also among my favourite activities, as they allow me to explore different cuisines and create delicious meals. I also value socializing with friends and family and reading.
While I do not have a driving license or a car, I am more than capable of providing exceptional care within the home environment. My focus is on ensuring the well-being and happiness of my clients, and I have found great fulfillment in doing so. I am a caring, friendly, and helpful person by nature, and I believe these attributes contribute to my success as a carer.
In terms of pet preferences, I have a fondness for all animals and am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I understand that pets can be an important part of someone's life, and I am more than happy to provide any assistance needed.
