Description
I have been a carer since 2002. I used to work in nursing homes,residential homes and for the last 4 years l have worked as a Live-in carer. I have worked with people suffering from schizophrenia, dementia, stoma care, catheter care, stroke, old age, multiple sclerosis, palliative care etc. My duties included bathing, toileting, cooking and preparing meals, giving medication, assisting with exercise, recording daily activities ,shopping etc. I do enjoy looking after people and help them with their daily needs. When lockdown was announced l was in Newick, East Sussex for six months doing Live-in Care with a 96 year old lady her family asked me to stay if it was okay for me.
