Description
Hello my name is Eileen I and live in Manchester( I am willing to travel to other
places in the UK )
I come from a care sector background, my mother who opened up her home to
care for many people over 25 years while I was growing up. She was the reason
and inspiration for me to also join the care profession, later in life I cared for my
mother when she was diagnosed wth dementia in her 60s.
My work experience is in both residential and in live- in care,I find it most
enjoyable being a live-in carer and can adapt easily to work in any clients home.
I do have a wide range of knowledge and experience working with among many
different clients with various needs. Including, dementia, parkinsons, depression,
mental health needs, down syndrome, autism and other health problems.
I pride myself on giving every client the same high standard of care I gave to my
mother, albeit as hard as It was emotionally for me at the time. This has given me
the strength to deliver a professional, compassionate and empathetic approach to
all my clients.
My interests are art, science, sports (any) ,nature and cooking.
I also love crochet , sewing, drawing, painting, photograthy and riding my bike.
My other main interest is martial arts, of which I study Aikido which rewards me
in practising much discipline, integrity and respect in everyday life while keeping
me physically and metally fit. My other passion is cooking, I love to cook! , I have
a wide range of knowledge and experience in cooking differnt cuisines as well as
baking and bread making.
For me,being a carer is second nature and I hope I can help all of my clients by
delivering the very best care possible to them while giving piece of mind to their
family. If you would like me to care for your loved one and benefit from my
knowledge and experience please do not hestitate to get in contact with me for
an informal talk. I look forward to hearing from you .
Kind Regards Eileen
