James has been with me for 22 months. Over a period of about 30 months I have had about 6 or 7 live in carers always 2 alternating weekly. Whilst all have been good James has been exceptional. He will only be leaving as I am moving to have only daytime care. James has taken me to lots of hospital appointments at Leighton hospital in Crewe often 2 in a month or more. Other appointments include optician and cataract Spa Medica visits, and frequent visits to my local medical centre. He has always prepared great meals. Back in January 2022 James had to arrange an ambulance visit and a District Nurse; within 3 hours I was on appropriate antibiotics. James always does washing and ironing excellently. He keeps my house immaculately, and is always easy to deal with, and we get on very well. In summary - no carer could be better. With best regards; A Nelson Cole Friday 29 July 2022

James was an absolutely amazing live-in carer to my Dad for approx. 2 years (2020-2022). My Dad, who is in his seventies, has had multiple complex health issues over the past couple of years – including severe mobility issues - and James has cared for him superbly through a huge range of challenges. Care for my dad has included: ensuring he gets medical care when needed, ensuring he takes medications, support with mobility, taking him to medical appointments, help with personal care (showering, toileting, applying creams etc), keeping the house in good order, preparing meals, help with shopping and of course companionship. Having such a skilled, patient and compassionate carer as James has been a huge comfort to me and a huge pleasure for my Dad. He’s just a great person to have around – he’s managed my Dad brilliantly through various stresses about hospital treatment. As well as being lovely, James is highly trained and knowledgeable with a very strong work ethic. He has quickly spotted when something is wrong with Dad health wise and taken appropriate action to get medical assistance (whether it be ambulance or just swift access to antibiotics). He’s encouraged Dad to be independent where possible but made it easy for him to accept help when he needs it. The only reason James has moved on is because my Dad is so much better now that he doesn’t need live in care any more. We will really miss James.
