Hello, my name is Lili, I am 53 years old and I have worked as a nurse for more than 5 years at the Urology section of the University Hospital in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and for more than 3 years as a live-in carer in London and Brighton.
As a nurse I encountered many different situations. My responsibilities were: medication administration, catheter, blood tests, blood pressure, personal care, injections, measurement of vital functions, injections, etc.
As live-in carer I faced different illnesses as: Alzheimer, Dementia, depression, deafness, visual impairments, physical disabilities, mental health issues, cancer, incontinence, urinary tract infection, anxiety, end of life care.
My responsibilities vary according to the requirements, but in general are: eating and drinking assistance, assistence with bathing and dressing, medication administration and remainder, personal care, helping with mobility, cleaning, shopping, cooking, Gp appointments, safeguarding, companionship.
Care for others it's a noble profession, means to share love, understanding and compassion, which are the essential aspects of our being.
Honesty and integrity, good organisational skills are just a few characteristics of a live-in carer.
Maybe choosing a carer it's a difficult time for you, but it may be necessary to have extra help at home. It is important to provide care and support, and giving you, in the same time, complet freedom, and supporting you to continue enjoying your hobbies and interests.
I am interested myself in sience, quantum physics and astronomy, and in spirituality - I take online courses, 2-3 days per week about the nature of reality.
I love travelling, my friends call me "a free spirit". I like walks in nature or on the city's streets.
My activities are meditation, preying, reading, writing, watching movies and documentaries, sometimes.
I smile and I laugh all the time, even in difficult situations, so I appreciate the sense of humor.

Liliana is a gift from heaven sent to me upon angel's wings. She is so caring and compassionate and it radiates out of her as a person. She attended to what I thought was an impossible mess to tackle in my home that had built up after not being able to care for myself for quite some time in just a few hours - a project I thought would take weeks.
