Hello, my name is Monica V and I have been a home carer for seven years. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from those with dementia to those with anxiety, and have developed a range of skills that allow me to provide quality care.
I consider myself to be a caring, friendly, and helpful person who is motivated by helping people lead independent lives. I understand that people value their independence, and it's my job to make sure that they are able to maintain it. As a result, I am experienced in a range of care types such as live-in, hourly, and overnight care.
I am skilled in moving and handling, bathing, toileting, and assistance with dressing, as well as administrative tasks. My hobbies include walking, dancing, cooking and baking, decorating, and gardening. I am also comfortable with pets including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds.
