Description
Hello, my name is Jennifer Akomah O, and I am a compassionate female home carer with extensive experience in providing care for individuals with various needs. Over the years, I have supported individuals with conditions such as Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I offer a range of care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care, and I take pride in assisting my clients with tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship.
One of my key strengths as a carer is my ability to drive, which allows me to easily transport and accompany my clients to appointments, outings, and errands. Although I do not have a car of my own, I am resourceful and can utilize alternative transportation methods as needed. In addition to my practical skills, I am known for my caring nature, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude, which create a supportive and nurturing environment for those under my care.
Outside of my caregiving duties, I enjoy hobbies such as walking, dancing, cooking and baking, playing video games, and reading. I am also an animal lover and am comfortable caring for pets such as cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. My motivation for being a home carer stems from my desire to help individuals lead independent lives and provide them with the support they need to thrive and maintain their quality of life.
